Grosley sur Risle is a well established and mature venue set in the Normandy countryside near Evreux. As its name suggests it lies in the Risle valley and is flanked by rolling hills and a railway line on its far bank – this does see some rail traffic, but nothing too intrusive. Before being turned into a carp fishery it was a leisure park so the facilities are very good. It’s now under new ownership having been recently purchased by Eric Touzé who is determined to create a first class carp fishery.
Grosley has 2 separate lakes, the Large Lake (around 25 acres) and the Small Lake (around 9 acres). Both lakes have good stocks of carp; the record in the Large Lake is 48lb and the Small Lake 40lb.
