The PowerRay fishing drone has been touted as being able to revolutionise the way we fish, offering a unique immersive fishing experience. It’s certainly an interesting product and the virtual reality aspect looks like good fun but is it really in the spirit of fishing?
In my opinion this fishing drone takes some the fun out of fishing. You may as well use dynamite or a big net. Not knowing what is beneath the water or what you might catch is one of the joys of fishing.
